It's been over a week since British Columbians went to the polls to vote for their provincial leadership. The BC Liberals have won the most seats thus far and are positioned to form a minority government - but the final seat count has not been determined. Over 170, 000 absentee ballots remain to be counted and a handful of ridings have been approved for a recount.
This time of uncertainty is not one for waiting. Now is the time to have our voices heard. We must GET LOUD to ensure mental health and addiction is top of mind for when the new government forms. The need is clear. The platform promises have been made.
Thunderclap helps us GET LOUD by amplifying our voices. It allows a single message to be broadcast on social media across multiple channels at the same time. Instead of one person speaking in support of better mental health, we'll have a crowd of people speaking all at once. This is how we’ll turn up the volume from a whisper to a shout.
Click the image to join our Thunderclap. There you will be able to share our post-election message to "Keep Mental Health #topofmind"! If we gather 100 supporters by May 24th (the day the final ballot count is announced) our message will be released all at once, across every supporter's account on Facebook and Twitter.
